SONY DSCThe Foundation offers scholarships to students seeking to advance their education. Each Scholarship Fund was created by members of the McHenry County community designated for a certain cause, school, or region.

Detailed scholarship information can be found within the application documents for each scholarship. Deadlines are in April for the following Fall semester.

Mariana Szczesny Scholarship

Graduating high school seniors from any McHenry County school who demonstrate academic excellence and need for financial help.

Scholarships ranging from $500 – $2,000

TC Industries, Inc. Scholarship

Children of TC Industries, Inc. employees who exhibit exceptional academic performance and dedication.

Two 4-year scholarships of $1,000 per year

VAC Veterans Memorial Scholarship

High school graduate or graduating high school senior who is the child of active duty personnel, honorably discharged veterans of the United States military, National Guard and military reservists.

Multiple scholarships ranging from $500 – $2,000

Joe Carnes Scholarship

Students graduating from Crystal Lake South High School who demonstrate community involvement and academic interests related to those of Mr. Carnes.

Scholarship up to $1,000

Erling K. Nor Scholarship

Students graduating from Alden-Hebron High School District #19 who demonstrate community involvement and academic excellence, and are continuing to advance in their studies full time.

One 2-year scholarship of $5,000 per year

Lorna D. Rowland Scholarship

Female student graduating from Wauconda High School going on to study social sciences and/or social issues.

One scholarship of $1,000

Allen Family Scholarship

Students graduating from Rolling Meadows High School who demonstrate commitment to volunteer service in their community and financial need.

One scholarship of $500
